We’re so excited to be gearing up for the 2021 season! This year you’ll see some changes from years past. For starters, we’re expanding! That’s right – we’re getting bigger. In order to bring in more produce vendors, we’ll be using the parking lot behind Maxwell’s and Tio’s. This will allow us to have more produce vendors, and a dedicated space for food vendors, and food trucks.
Speaking of food vendors…we’re super excited to be able to have food vendors that prepare on-site back! We’ll be reaching out to vendors who were with us before COVID-19 hit the world, and are looking forward to have hot food made while you wait.
Also “new” this year…we can have entertainment back! YAY!!! Music, balloon artists, food or art demonstrations – we can have them again. Yes, there are still some regulations to abide by, but we are happy to implement those, in order to have them back!
Along with masks, buffer zones between booths, no on-site prepared food (at booths), hand sanitizer, and what seems like a bazillion more regulations to follow, due to COVID-19…the Daybreak Farmers Market is under new management. That’s right! Stephanie Devine, founder of the Daybreak Farmers Market, has handed over the reins to fellow Daybreak residents, Makayla Robinson, and Laura Gaillard, to go on to other wonderful pursuits.
We are so thankful to Stephanie for bringing the market to Daybreak, and we will do our utmost to adhere to the spirit of community, and authenticity which she has created. We wish her well in her new endeavors, and are grateful for her being around to answer our myriad of questions.
What really makes the Daybreak Farmers Market stand out is the amazing vendors, and their fantastic products! And now that we have a few weeks of running the farmers market under our belts, we want to say “thank you” to our vendors who have been so wonderful for us, as we’ve been learning the ropes. We love our vendors, and will continue to do all we can to help them be successful at the market
The Daybreak Farmers Market is held each Saturday from 9:00am – 1:00pm, through Halloween at “Soda Row”, 11274 S Kestrel Rise Rd, South Jordan, UT.
Come on down and join us. Please wear a mask! (if you’re looking for a mask to love, there are many to choose from here!)
2020 has been a challenging year so far – Covid 19 changed everything about the way we interact. As an outdoor market, our ability to open as usual on SoDa Row has changed some.
We are back on the street on SoDa Row as usual, but with more distance between vendors. We’re all super excited about what we have planned to keep our small producers in business and to bring amazing local food, crafts, and goods to Daybreak!
Governor Herbert announced on June 26, 2020, that face masks are mandatory in the State of Utah. Our vendors will all be wearing masks until the mandate is lifted.
